The work of Susan Jørgensen’s thirty year career extends from
detailed studies of natural objects to panoramic vistas. While
her diverse images are personal, the artwork always has with a
reverence for ecological balance and diversity as well as an
insistent cry for the necessity of wild places. Based in
photography, her techniques include chromogenic and digital
prints, Polaroid transfers, oil on gelatin silver prints, and
gelatin silver prints.
